Residential Gardens
While much of our work is in public landscapes, we enjoy the fact that we are not just landscape architects, but also garden designers. Residential garden design allows us to work with one person, couple or family to create a space which is specific to them, one that allows them to enjoy being outdoors, in a garden which complements their house and lifestyle. In addition to designing residential gardens, Andrea also teaches Melbourne's next generation of designers, holding the position of Lecturer in Residential Landscape Design at the University of Melbourne's Burnley campus.
Being located on the border of the Dandenong Ranges and Yarra Valley, we especially enjoy working with hills gardens and country properties, but have experience in working on residential gardens across Victoria, including coastal areas. This also includes restoring and updating heritage gardens, including properties with work by Edna Walling, Robin Boyd and Robert Hamilton. We also work with body corporate organisations to develop their shared garden spaces. We are happy to work with clients to undertake projects ranging from high level Master Planning through to complete design, documentation and contract supervision. We have good working relationships with landscape contractors, who we can recommend to construct our designs. More photos may be found in the Gallery. |
