Therapeutic Gardens

Gardens that provide health and wellbeing benefits beyond typical green space are an important part of our work.  As a special passion for our staff, we enjoy working with health facilities, Councils and individuals to create gardens that are specifically designed to improve the health and happiness of the people who use them. This is informed by strong personal interest and close experience with illness and disability.  We have found that designing these spaces requires flexibility and a highly individualised design that responds directly to the unique needs of the people it is supporting, and we have built strong design processes to achieve this. In addition to designing these spaces our staff also teach therapeutic garden design at the University of Melbourne, Burnley.
