Armadale Primary School

Armadale Primary School is an inner-city public school with a strong school community and dedication to providing a nurturing environment within a natural environment.  The grounds for the school are very small, dominated by heritage listed school buildings and an asphalt playground.  The new Master Plan worked closely with the school community to develop a new vision for the play grounds, one which captures the needs of the school, greening the space and making it more friendly, usable and welcoming.  The Master Plan was adopted in late 2019 and andrea proctor landscapes were later engaged to develop Master Plan Projects including the nature-based playground for younger children, the deck stage, central forecourt and Pick My Project Sports Courts.  The sports courts upgrade was completed in 2020, with the first part of the deck stage in the same year as a Make Safe Project administered by the VSBA.
